Eaton Conservation District Spring Tree Sale 2023
Pre-order by March 22, pick up April 14-15, 2023

The Eaton Conservation District offers several species of native trees and shrubs during their spring tree sale. Native pollinator and wildflower seed mixes are available as well. The order deadline is March 22 but earlier orders have a better chance of being filled. Pickup dates are April 14-15 at Kardel Hall, Eaton County Fairgrounds, 1025 S. Clinton Conservation District Spring Tree Sale 2023
Pre-order by March 13th, pick up April 21-22, 2023

Pick-up at Clinton County Fairgrounds, 800 W. Sickles St, St. John's, MI 

The Clinton Conservation District offers several species of native trees and shrubs during their spring tree sale. Order online with a credit card or mail in a paper form and check. All orders are due by March 13th. Pickup dates are April 21-22 at the Clinton County Fairgrounds in St. John's. Extras will be available on a first come first serve basis. Ingham Conservation District Spring Tree Sale 2023
Pre-order by March 31 (mail-in) or April 14 (online). Pick up trees April 21 & 22 and wildflowers May 19 & 20.​

The Ingham Conservation District offers several species of native trees and wildflowers during their spring tree sale. The order deadline is March 31st if mailing in the paper form. The deadline is April 14th if purchasing through their online store. Pickup wildflowers May 19 & 20 and all other items April 21-22. 

Purchases help support local conservation efforts that benefit our shared land, water and wildlife resources. Last year, trees purchased from the ICD Tree Sale as well as donated trees and partnership efforts, resulted in 27 acres of reforestation in and around Ingham County!

The Harris Nature Center is holding a native Michigan plant sale on Saturday, May 6, 2023. Plants can be pre-ordered until April 21 and additional plants will be available on site for purchase. 
The plants are grown locally by Designs By Nature, LLC in Laingsburg, MI. The proceeds from the sale support the Harris Nature Center.

The Wild Ones Red Cedar Chapter will be offering a nice selection of native Michigan wildflowers and grasses at the Meridian Farmer's Market. The plants are grown from locally collected seed by Wildtype Nursery in Mason. We will have plants that support pollinators and milkweeds for Monarchs! These plants are free of the neonicotinoid insecticides found at some retail outlet stores.

Proceeds from this fundraiser will help the Wild Ones Red Cedar Chapter continue our educational programs and provide grants to help establish native gardens in the greater Lansing area. Thank you for your support!

DeVries Nature Conservancy Native Plant Sale

DeVries Nature Conservancy is holding a native plant sale on May 13, 2023 from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm. Plants will be in quart size pots grown by East Michigan Native Plants in Durand, MI. Nursery owner Angela Nelson will hold a native gardening workshop at 10 am for $10 per person.

Wildtype specializes in growing plants native to Michigan, from Michigan genotypes. They grow trees, shrubs, grasses and wildflowers. It is their objective to propagate nursery stock with enough genetic diversity to create self-sustaining populations. They also offer services such as site assessment, invasive species management, native plant installation and native landscape maintenance.

Visit the Designs by Nature website where customers can place orders for curbside pickup or have them shipped for an extra fee. They sell native wildflowers, grasses and sedges in quart pots, details here, as well as garden kits that include 32 plants of various species in themes such as Monarch Way Station, Pollinator Garden, Shoreline Garden and more.

Designs by Nature provides natural landscaping, design and consulting, environmental education, and habitat management planning in addition to selling Michigan native plants. Go Grow Plant Natives is a home-based nursery located near Charlotte, Michigan. They focus on growing flowers, grasses, sedges, shrubs, and trees that have a Native Michigan genotype. Midwest Green Services opened June 29, 2022 and is "possibly Michigan's smallest purveyor of Michigan native wildflowers". Plants are grown in pots made from post consumer, and reused materials. Their mission is "To promote native wildlife through the conversion of grass deserts to native plantscapes". They also do green roof planning and installation.
